Responsible for collective procedures for the administration of debt, as an auxiliary delegate of the judge who declares bankruptcy. They are appointed by the judge and must be a local merchant. They have advisory functions regarding the judge himself, whom they must keep informed about the bankruptcy’s progress. They make decisions on the occupation and conservation of assets, preside over creditors’ meetings, examine the accounting, and inspect the bankruptcy’s operations.
